Times and places,
Forgotten faces,
Hearts do break,
Some are a fake,
With a plastic smile,
Loathsome and vile,
Life's a mystery,
Immortalized through history,
Pressures of the day,
Cloud our way,
Generic in spoken word,
Left to the absurd,
Stolen truth,
From the innocent youth,
Then there's genuine love,
We all dream of,
Sharing the laughter,
Happily ever after,
So much to give,
As we strive to live,
According to plan,
Doing the best we can,
In a world so cold,
Seeking someone to hold,
Confessing our fears,
Aging throughout the years,
Show me a sign,
Of a life benign,
Relationships lost,
At a steep cost,
Love is not new,
Just waiting for you,
To take the fall,
Because they are your all,
Let the children dance,
